GEOLOGICAL TIME

The Geological Time Scale depicts the entire history of our planet. Each phase received a name that, despite being strange, identifies a period that brings its own characteristics of fauna and flora. Geologists and paleontologists have identified dates when some drastic change happened, usually with the extinction of almost all species at the time. They named the periods based on these changes. In the table on the side you can see it better.
